Chapter President’s Message

Welcome to the Portsmouth Chapter of Les Gemmes, Inc.  We are elated to be able to seek out and serve the Portsmouth community and its surrounding area.  We have adopted Douglas Park Elementary School and Autumn Care of Portsmouth, as well as the Shoe Tree @ 3.  Each year in February, we honor our rich heritage by presenting a Black History program that it free to the public.  We recently revived our scholarship program, naming it the Evelyn West Scholarship Program after our most senior member and two time National President.  If there are opportunities you would to either see us undertake (or if you would like to partner with us), please contact me.  We are here to serve.
